STEADY GIGGIN’ June 27 2011
Rhythm Natives had another show last night at The Joint in LA. They were part of the bill that La Punk Noir had organized, featuring bands outside of the hip hop genre. Real talk, the independent music scene THRIVES in Los Angeles. Explore it, get out, and see/hear what I’m talkin’ about.

That’s me rappin’ with Will Lamar of Planet Maple and the Urban Skateboard Association. Will reaches out to the community by teaching inner city youth how to surf and skate. Right now, he’s working on building a skate park in the Pico Union area.

After the show, Jon and Glen were interviewed by Stilts. She’s that video vixen/For the Love of Ray J girl….

We caught Mahi Gato before leaving. They did a Portishead cover that had all of us geekin. The lead singer, Keisha, has some pipes!
