LIFESWELL 10 October 26 2011
We’re already at the end of the month, and you know what that means for me and my crew. LIFESWELL. The pre-party jitters have already begun, and that’s because this installment is a little more personal than the rest. I’m celebrating my 30th birthday tomorrow at our event. I’m not gonna lie, it’s been tough to stomach that milestone age, but lately I’ve realized that my life is just beginning. And that’s actually a really good feeling.
Now back to LIFESWELL. Because it’s my birthday, we all thought to involve everyone that has made this last year a successful one for me. Besides my company throwing it and my best friends being there, the people that I’ve heavily worked with will be there, too. First is Everybody’s Rival, who is actually throwing the party with Rick & Ray. There are so many parallels between their company and mine, so it made sense to do this together. Spintelect (co-owner of ER/Talib Kweli and Alexander Spit DJ) is actually our guest DJ tomorrow night. Next are Backside and Soul Assassins. I do a little bit of everything for those two entities, and it’s because of them that my network has vastly grown. They are sponsoring LIFESWELL with giveaways.
