ATTN: LOS ANGELES July 14 2009
I’ve got another event to plug, this time for our friend, Eden Espinosa.
You may or may not know her name, but I’m sure you’ve heard her. Last year, she graced audiences as Elphaba in the production of “Wicked” at the Pantages Theater. She also closed out “Rent” in New York last September as Maureen. And this summer, you can hear her every night during the fireworks show at Disneyland. Yes, the girl can sing.
In between all of that, Eden created her own show (it premiered in LA in December, and then in NYC in March) - sans makeup, sans big orchestra, sans costume. She sings songs that describe her journey, all of them set against organic arrangements of conga drums, bass, and piano. This July 24, she’s taking that show to a much larger scale, the Ford Amphitheater.
The CA crew will be there to support Eden and listen to her story through song. You should come, too.
