AND THE NOMINEES ARE… January 31 2010

I went to a Grammy party last Friday night that featured some of my favorite names in R&B - Foreign Exchange, Eric Roberson, Robert Glasper, and Bilal. They celebrated their nods at Club 740 in Downtown LA by performing to a packed house. DJs included Rashida and Vikter Duplaix. I don’t know if QuestLove or Chad Hugo of The Neptunes spun because I got kicked out (I also missed Erro’s performance). I snuck my way up to the VIP area to see the view from the top and to rub elbows. I succeeded in both quests, so it was all worth it.
