MEJOR December 16 2008 CA Team
The reason why we chose to open the homepage with a blog isn't because I wanted to stress over daily posts, but because we wanted readers to get to know the brand and the people who run it. So as the year comes to an end, Kim and I are gonna jump on the bandwagon and do a best of '08 series. Everyone else is doing it and we've therefore succombed to the trend. First off, our favorite sneaker buys of 2008. Compared to some of you, we respectively have modest collections. We kind of just buy stuff that we like, and though that sometimes happens to be a lot, you won't find us waiting in line or searching every store in LA to cop a pair. And now that you know our purchasing style, our sneaker picks for the year.
KIM - Nike Court Forces in grey premium leather and black/white tweed pattern because "I just like 'em."
TRICIA - Any colorway of Vans Era because "they look better on me than the authentics, and they go well with skinny jeans."
