Yesterday, we celebrated Big B's milestone birthday at Lawry's on La Cienega. When it comes to food, I generally favor hole in the wall joints over pretentious eateries. Unless it's Lawry's. There's some kind of attachment I have with this place. It could be the grand, elegant style with rich wood furniture and deep seated banquettes, or the heavy silver cutlery and shining crystal ware that sits atop crisp white linens. Who am I kidding?? I go there for their 21 day aged, hand carved, rock salt roasted prime rib!















Now let me introduce you to my man, Oscar. Slip him a few bucks, and he'll hook you up with meat for your doggies. The carvers leave a good portion of beef near the bones. I left the restaurant carrying about 15lbs of that for Kaia and Hustler. Everyone was happy.
