AGENDA August 5 2010
I had the opportunity to attend day one of Agenda in Huntington Beach. Ever since we started CA, none of us had been to a forum like this before - where the best of streetwear and action sports unite under one roof. Upstairs housed both the up and coming and the well established lines. While downstairs housed the skate section, appropriately called ‘The Berrics Agenda’.
Let’s get started.

The Mishka team - probably the coolest folks I met all day. Thanks for the drank, Matt! Look out for their Spring ‘11 flannels. Heat.

Native Shoes. I was telling one of the reps how I had literally picked up a pair that day. Millers in pigeon gray to be exact.

Josh and Mike of Akomplice got it right with this canvas on display in their booth. Be on the look out for their BP oil spill inspired t-shirt.

The Pop Killer team.

The Primer section of Agenda, which featured 20 emerging brands.

I caught Sweets (Huf) and Eric (Backside) mid meeting.

One of my faves.

In the hallway of Hyatt Regency, while en route to check out the ocean view.

Josh (10 Deep) was outside.

And so were CPabs (Agenda, The Seventh Letter) and Angela (Sexy Fresh). CPabs designed everything for the show.

Thanks, CPabs!

Always nice to see the Primitive fam.

KR3W had a booth with beer on tap. FTW!

The Ackrylick team.

The IMKING team. I was looking to finally meet Alex...

And finally, some pieces from the Spring ‘11 Obey line. For me, Obey has been the only brand to hold my attention, and they’ll keep holding it til next year. I wish they’d open a flagship store. Do you hear me Shepard Fairey?

TAGS AND TWEETS August 4 2010
Quite often we get tweeted or tagged on Facebook when friends/fam see our stickers somewhere like food trucks, street signs, parking meters. Here are a few that we’ve received. My favorite is the piggy with the ‘stashe. So very hipster of us…

TUESDAY INSPIRATION August 3 2010
I’ve got a lot on my mind, and being sick last week threw me way off. So I’m back to my brain going a mile a minute - everything from the fall line to my vacation next week, from artist collaborations to simply staying creative. Here are a few things keeping me on my toes.

ALL TOGETHER NOW August 2 2010
72 North last Saturday, where Gabe and Jake of The Big Pill and the Rhythm Natives came together on stage for a great night of live hip hop. Also in the place - Barrage Clothing, Shay Maria, photografiya, Oishi Media, DJ Jay P, and of course us.

WATCH THIS August 1 2010

Despicable Me. Because super criminals that exploit orphan girls is funny (and dark and emotional, too). And because the score was done by Pharrell Williams, et al, with Lupe Fiasco and Robin Thicke on the soundtrack.
