I checked out this spot for the first time the other day. It is home to both Umami Burger and Hennessey & Ingalls. Immediate attraction.

THE MAKING OF (PART TWO) May 29 2010
In between the narrative of the music video, there are black and white shots of women important to Bam, myself, and Kim. In there own way they have committed themselves to the community, they have exemplified what it means to be a woman. Part two of filming (in Los Angeles and in Eagle Rock) was dedicated to them. It went like this:

THE MAKING OF (PART ONE) May 28 2010
By now, you should have seen our music video for “The Queen is Dead” with Bambu and Oishi Media. In case you’ve just joined us, check it HERE. The narrative mostly takes place in a Downtown Los Angeles loft, where Bam and Tep make up only to break up in front of his community of peers. Day one of filming went like this:

ENSENADA May 27 2010
The most fun I had on vacay was here - on the streets of Ensenada.
Once you get off the bus that takes you to the downtown area, you are immediately greeted by vendors. Lucha libre masks, sling shots, Viagra, hammocks, your name on a grain of rice, bracelets, musical numbers. They’ve got it all.

We hit up a restaurant further down from where the rest of the tourists were at. We had some margaritas at El Corralito, and we made our mark.

The famed Papas & Beer.

Street food - my favorite thing to eat when traveling. We started with some carne asada and fish tacos.

And ended the day excursion with seriously, the best shrimp cocktail I’ve ever had.
