CHRISTINE ALANE October 28 2009
As you know, music has been an integral part of the brand, especially this year. We’ve been fortunate enough to work with hip hop band, Rhythm Natives and funk band, The Big Pill. I’ve now added R&B to that list with artist Christine Alane. On our two year anniversary mix by DJ Myster-E, you would have heard her new single called “City Up” - a personal anthem to Los Angeles. Lately she’s been in the studio to master the song with producer, Marcus Lasha, who created the track.

The latest version is available for download HERE. Though it has not gone through its final mixdown, you can still listen for it at clubs and events around LA, starting today.

ART + MUSIC October 27 2009
Downtown LA isn’t the only place to be for this kind of stuff…
Everyday Shop hosted Hollywood Art Walk at the Dragonfly last night. Live installations, live music, Halloween costumes, and relief efforts for the victims of the Philippines typhoon. The Rhythm Natives performed a new set with new tracks, old tracks, covers, and solo sessions in between. My boys just keep getting better.
